Application for an Exit/Entry Permit
The foreigner who cannot obtain a replacement from the embassy/consulate of his/her home country in China for his/her passport or international travel permit that has been lost, damaged, robbed or stolen, for the purpose of applying for an exit/entry permit, shall submit the proof of such loss, or the diplomatic note issued by the embassy/consulate of his/her home country in China that proves such loss, or the damaged/invalid certificate, together the temporary ID certificate in place of the passport. The issued exit/entry permit shall be valid for no more than 30 days.
